Havarti Ham and Kale Quiche


Quiche is such an easy and tasty meal. Minutes of prep and you can get as creative as you want. Use whatever ingredients you have on hand and its pretty much guaranteed to come out delicious- the perfect meal to clean out your fridge.

I made this quiche for dinner tonight after I got home from Pilates and was surprised at just how good it was! Here’s your quick and easy recipe.

Havarti Ham and Kale Quiche

1 pie crust (you can make your own but I just used pre-made)
4 eggs
1 1/4 cup almond milk (or cream, whole milk, half and half- whatever you’ve got)
4 ounces thick sliced ham
4 ounces Havarti cheese (about three slices)
3/4 cup chopped kale

Preheat oven to 350. Chop ham and cheese into small pieces. Line your pie plate with your crust and layer ham, cheese and kale on top. Whisk eggs and milk together. Add a dash of nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture over everything and bake it for about 45 minutes, or until center is set.

Let cool for ten minutes, slice it up and enjoy!

Am I the only person who never actually waits for things to cool? I don’t event know why I said it there, but every recipe I’ve ever read says to let things cool, so I added it. Whatever, I’m too impatient. Don’t worry, it’s still tasty even if you eat it right away!
